I just did something in Illustrator and it looks like total crap. I don't even know what I was doing to be honest. I was just playing with the line and shape tool to create some basic poster design but I don't know of what. It looks like some ideogram of train tracks or roads. but I couldn't take it anything further.
Hrm I just want to create something awesome in Illustrator. I know I can but for some reason I can't. I need to do the background work, as in some basic research on what I actually want to do but its nothing serious. I just wanted to see what I could create in an hour or so with no actual concept behind. If I can do this then I'm sure I can actually get better at designing/generating ideas.
One main thing I failed on was the use of texture. I use the wrong texture form the wrong colour and so forth. It just doesn't seem to work for me. Hrm Its only 9:30 and I'm already thinking of going bed. Blah! Lets see if I can give this thing another shot. I remember me and Mc Love generating random ideas of things that just don't make sense. I'm going to try and do one of them after my little break from the nothing I was doing. Wish me luck (Y)
